HC Deb 22 December 1982 vol 34 cc551-5W
Mr. Peter Bottomley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list all non-statutory bodies to which his Department has made grants for 1981–82 and 1982–83 showing the name of the organisation, the amount of grant and the powers under which the grant is made; and if he will give similar information for grant-aid by other statutory bodies for which his Department is responsible.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

The information requested is attached in respect of my Department's grants, including grants-in-aid, to non-statutory bodies. Grants under the Industry and Agriculture Acts were excluded. Final figures for grants in support of research projects are not yet available but will appear in due course in the annual publication "Research Wales". Details of all the grants made by statutory bodies for which my Department is responsible are not held centrally.
