asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they agree that the chairman of the Nature Conservancy Council, Sir Ralph Verney, is "quite unable to keep his zealots and minions in any kind of effective check", and what steps they intend to take to prevent such attacks in future; and:

Whether they agree that the Nature Conservancy Council is "inconsiderate and oppressive", and what steps they intend to take to prevent such attacks on the NCC.
