§ Mr. MayhewSummary fire statistics for 1981, including some information on casualties from fires in dwellings, were published on 16 September, in Home Office Statistical Bulletin, issue No. 18/82, a copy of which is in the Library.
The detailed publication "Fire Statistics United Kingdom 1981" is expected to be published in February 1983.
