§ Mr. MayhewFigures for notifiable offences recorded by the police in the first three quarters of 1982 were published at the usual times; those for the third quarter were published in Home Office Statistical Bulletin Issue No. 27/82 on 15 December 1982. The notes in each bulletin give the planned time of the next issue. The annual publication "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales, 1981", Cmnd. 8668, was published on 21 October 1982, on about the same date as last year.
