§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will permit masts of over 1.5 metres in height for citizens band radio transmissions in areas where topographical features cause reception difficulties.
§ Mr. RaisonThere are no limits on the height of masts for CB radios other than any arising from local planning requirements. The limit of 1.5 metres, in respect of which there can be no exception, relates to the length of the CB antenna itself.
