§ Mr. Arnoldasked the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Hazel Grove on 25 November concerning speed regulations covering motor coaches on motorways, what representations have been made by his Department to the companies concerned in relation to violations of the speed limit.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI have pointed out to the Bus and Coach Council that failure by its members to observe vehicle speed limits is dangerous of itself, damages the image of their industry and could lead public opinion to press for more onerous legal restrictions.
