HC Deb 06 December 1982 vol 33 c398W
Mr. Iain Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish his responses to the consultations with the planning authority in Coventry on the highway implications of each separate development planning application on the A45 in Allesley, Coventry, made by Mr. and Mrs. Harty of Windmill Farm and by the developer of the hotel complex on the north of the A45, respectively.

Mrs. Chalker

It is not our practice to publish all details of consultations with the planning authority in such cases, but the significant responses can be made available to anyone with an interest in the matter.

In the case of Windmill Farm planning application, my Department directed the planning authority to refuse permission for development and in the case of the application for the hotel complex on the north side of A45, my Department has indicated to the planning authority that any permission which is given should include certain conditions relating to access and parking areas.

I shall be writing to my hon. Friend more fully.
