§ Dame Judith Hartasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if Her Majesty's Government will in December again vote to support the resolution in the General Assembly of the United Nations, on the occasion of the presentation of the report by the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Chile, to condemn the denial and abuse of human rights in Chile.
§ Mr. OnslowOur aim in the United Nations General Assembly will be to support the most effective means of improving Chile's human rights performance, but our decision on voting will depend on a number of factors, including the final wording of whatever resolution comes to be voted upon.
