§ Mr. MayhewThe only information available centrally relates to the period May to October 1978 and was published in table 8.13 of "Criminal Statistics England and Wales, 1979"—Cmnd. 8098. In that period 129W about 3 per cent. of all persons released on bail by magistrates' courts were required to observe a curfew; this figure represented about one in seven of all those required to observe conditions after release on bail.
