§ 11. Mr. Charles R. Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will introduce legislation to enable the public to have direct access to the Commission for Local Administration in England.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI have no proposals to do so. The present arrangements, rightly in my view, take account of the importance of the role of local authority members. However, I intend to discuss this question shortly with the commission and the representative body.
