§ Mr. Cryer asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many woodworking machinery accidents occurring on panel saws were reported to Her Majesty's Inspector of Factories in 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980 and the first nine months of 1981; how many of these were as a result of the operator coming into contact with the saw blade; and, during the same period, how many accidents there were reported involving circular sawing machines as defined in regulation 2 of the Woodworking Machines Regulations 1974.
