§ Mr. Alfred Morris asked the Secretary of State for Industry what consideration he has given to the "Policy for Industry" of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce; what action he is taking in relation to the detailed proposals made; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MacGregor: I have read with interest a copy of the association's paper. It contains a lot of useful points which deserve to be widely heeded, particularly in the importance it attaches to competitiveness, cost control and increased efficiency as a basis for growth.
