§ Dr. McDonald asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will consider any reduction in overseas students fees, bearing in mind the communiqué and consultative document released at the Commonwealth conference in Melbourne concerning student mobility and assistance to Third world countries; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. William Shelton: the policy of full-cost for overseas students is an integral part of the Government's policy or reducing public expenditure. The Government are currently deliberating on the communiquéand consultative document released at the Melbourne conference.
