§ Dr. Roger Thomas asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is satisfied that the proposed new meat regulations will not result in a reduction in the general consumption of home-produced meat products and in making the consumer less certain that the food bought is not of a generally inferior quality.
§ Mrs. Fenner: I am confident that the proposed regulations would not reduce consumption of home 468W produced meat products; but all interests affected by the proposal are being consulted, and their views will be considered before regulations are laid.
