§ Mr. Teddy Taylor asked the Lord Privy Seal if, pursuant to his reply of 26 October, Her Majesty's Governmment have advised the Government of Israel that the statements attributed to the Foreign Secretary at the meeting of the European Democratic Union on 3 July are wholly misleading and do not represent the views of Her Majesty's Government.
§ Mr. Hurd: No. the report was indeed wholly misleading but we have no reason to believe that the Israeli Government gave any credence to it.
