§ Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will take steps to assist any work force displaced from the Perivale works of Hoover Limited (UK).
§ Mr. Peter Morrison:I understand that the Manpower Services Commission's local jobcenter manager has already been in touch with the company about the possible closure of Hoover's Perivale factory. The Commission assures me that all its facilities will be made available to help workers currently employed there who lose their jobs.
