HC Deb 28 October 1981 vol 10 c367W
Mr. Grist

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he intends to recognise the qualifications of the British School of Osteopathy for the purpose of making possible local authority discretionary student grants.

Mr. Waldegrave:

It is already possible for local education authorities to make discretionary grants to students on courses provided by the British School of Osteopathy, but I cannot at present reconsider the designation of such courses for mandatory awards purposes.
