HC Deb 27 October 1981 vol 10 c315W
Mr. Norman Atkinson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will set down in the Official Report full details of all money at constant prices actually paid or earmarked to be paid under all headings by Her Majesty's Government to the London borough of Haringey for the years 1979–80, 1980–81 and 1981–82.

Mr. King:

The latest estimates, at constant 1981–82 outturn prices, are as follows—they do not include capital grants, for which comparable figures for the three years are not yet available:

Rate Support Grants 70.2 66.7 57.8
Rate Rebates 1.9 1.9 2.5
Housing Subsidies and other support 19.4 19.7 16.1
Specific Grants * 8.4 8.3 8.6
* Based on returns made by the borough.
