§ Mr. Eggar asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is satisfied with the level of psychogeriatric care in the Enfield and Haringey area health authority: and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg:Current provision for inpatient psychogeriatric care in the Enfield health district is inadequate and the health authorities plans to open a new 28 bed unit next year. The health authorities are taking urgent steps to make better provision for psychogeriatric patients in the interim period.
