§ Mr. Proctor asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the number of houses and flats sold by new town development corporations to sitting tenants since May 1979.
§ Sir George Young:Since May 1979 new town development corporations have sold 5,849 dwellings and negotiations are in hand for the sale of a further 3,309. Together these represent 12 per cent. of the tenancies at June 1979. The figures for individual towns as at 30 June 1981 are:
