HC Deb 26 October 1981 vol 10 c236W

25. Sir David Price asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a statement on the first report of the National Heritage Memorial Fund; and what action he proposes to take.

Mr. Channon:

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and I have very much welcomed the publication of the first annual report of the fund. The trustees have responded to the enormous demands made upon them with flexibility and imagination. My right hon. Friend and I are carefully considering all the points raised in the report.
