§ Mr. Cryer asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will introduce legislation to ensure that video tapes and packaged films offered for sale or hire to the public display accurate details of footage and screen time as appropriate; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Biffen:I shall of course consider carefully any representations made to me on the marking of video tapes and films, but I am not aware of any need for new legal requirements in this area.
