§ Mr. Cryer asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many posts are still unfilled in the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Waddington:There are currently 95 inspectors in post and two more are due to join the inspectorate in the near future. A vigorous recruitment campaign continues and the HSE hopes to recruit up to a level of 106 posts if suitable candidates can be found.
