§ Mr. Alton asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a statement on the proposed reorganisation of inner city schools in Liverpool.
§ Dr. Boyson:My right hon. Friend is studying these proposals in the light of the authority's reply of 30 July to the Department's letter of 20 July. He will announce his decision as soon as he has completed his consideration of the issues involved.
