HC Deb 20 October 1981 vol 10 c98W
29. Mr. Pavitt

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many general practitioners in the North West metropolitan regional health authority have taken 24 hours retirement and returned to medical practice drawing both remuneration and pension; and if he will make a statement.

Dr. Vaughan:

Data collected from all family practitioner committees in England as part of the review of the retirement arrangements for general practitioners are now complete and are being analysed by the Department. I shall write to the hon. Member as soon as the information he requires becomes available.
