§ Mr. Mayhew:"Prison Statistics England and Wales 1980"—Cmnd. 8372—was published on 30 September 1981. Publication was about two months later than usual mainly because of the additional statistical analyses made to assess the effects of the industrial action by prison officers in the last quarter of 1980.
