asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what purchases of office furniture have been made by or on behalf of his Department from Harrods since the present Government assumed office; what items were purchased; and what was the total cost of such purchases.

Sir George Young:

No purchases of office furniture have been made from Harrods by, or on behalf of, the Department of the Environment since the present Government assumed office.
