asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many enforcement notices have been served by the Health and Safety Executive on each of the individual high risk installations in Canvey and Thurrock since the publication of its 1978 report; and how many prosecutions have been initiated.

From the publication of the report on 20 June 1978 to 15 October 1981 three enforcement notices have been served on one of the high risk installations in Canvey and Thurrock. One prosecution has been initiated.
