§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the qualifications and experience in health service matters of the chairman designate of the Brent district health authority.
§ Dr. Vaughan:Whilst it is useful for chairmen of district health authorities to have had previous health service experience, they are appointed primarily for their personal qualities. I have full confidence in the chairman designate of the Brent health authority.
