§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Manpower Services Commission funds a very large number of bodies independent of it, and for a variety of purposes. These 341W include local authorities and voluntary bodies providing sheltered employment for severely disabled people, colleges of further education providing training for adults under the training opportunities scheme, and the many sponsors providing places for unemployed young people under the youth opportunities programme. It would not be possible to list the names of these bodies, and the amounts and purposes of their funding, except at disproportionate cost.
