However, a table for 1979–80 on the lines suggested was published on pages 12–14 of volume II of the third report from the Select Committee on Social Services for Session 1980–81. Information about authorities in other United Kingdom countries is for my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
