§ Mr. John PattenThe report of the Northern Ireland review committee on mental health legislation was published on 6 October 1981. Individuals and organisations concerned with mental health services have been invited to submit comments on the committee's recommendations by 31 January 1982. When the responses to the report have been evaluated, proposals will be made for any necessary revision of the present mental health laws in Northern Ireland.
