§ Mr. Altonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, following the end of the hunger strike by Mr. John Hasse in Strangeways prison, he will make a statement on Mr. Hasse's physical condition.
§ Mr. MayhewMr. Hasse ended his hunger strike on 30 October and since then has been seen daily by the senior medical officer at Manchester who is satisfied that he is now fully recovered.
