§ Mr. HurdThe operative paragraphs of resolution 35/144B noted with satisfaction the work of the Committee on Disarmament on the prohibition of chemical weapons; expressed regret that agreement had not yet been reached on a comprehensive chemical weapons ban; urged the Committee on Disarmament to continue negotiations on such a multilateral convention as a matter of high priority; and requested the Committee to report the results to the 36th session of the General Assembly.
