§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Lord Privy Seal what proposals will be made by the United Kingdom to the ad hoc committee on the Indian Ocean as a zone of peace, which reconvened in New York on 17 February.
§ Mr. HurdThe Ad Hoc committee session which adjourned on 6 March was largely concerned with the search for consensus on how best to carry forward the idea of a zone of peace. The United Kingdom took part but at this stage we do not propose to put specific proposals to the committee.
