§ Mr. HurdThe United Kingdom has participated fully in the first session of the ad hoc committee and its working group, with a view to examining the problems caused by the activities of mercenaries and to joining in a search for possible internationally agreed solutions. At this session there were initial exchanges on the definition of the term"mercenary" and on the content of possible international convention
