§ Mr. KingThe Commission of the European Communities committed the following amounts from the European regional development fund in respect of infrastructure projects located in the Merseyside special development area in the years 1976 to 1980:

During 1980–81, the first year of operation, Community contributions in respect of the North West programme amounted to £92.9 million.
