Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give figures for Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland, showing (a) the number of people registered unemployed, (b) the total population, (c) the total working population and (d) the percentage of the working population that is unemployed; and if he will distinguish between numbers of men and women in each case.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will list the specific proposals made by member Governments at the current EEC Ministers' meeting in Luxembourg which discussed unemployment; what decisions were made on each of these proposals; and if he will make a statement;

(2) what was the outcome of the meeting in Luxembourg held during the current meeting of EEC ministers to discuss unemployment; which Minister or Ministers represented the United Kingdom Government; what proposals they made; and if he will make a statement.
