HC Deb 11 June 1981 vol 6 c186W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what is the average water bill for (a) domestic and (b) industrial users in Wales in 1980–81 and 1981–82.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

The Welsh Water Authority's water bill, including the charges for sewerage and environmental services, for an average domestic property in Wales—that is, with a rateable value of £120—was £58.12 in 1980–81 and is £66.76 in 1981–82. It is not possible to give an average figure for water charges to industrial consumers because they are not separately identified from other metered consumers.
