§ Mr. Geraint Howellsasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has plans to improve the A44 trunk road in Llanbadarn Road, Aberystwyth, in the current year; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsSubject to the acquisition of the necessary land and the satisfactory completion of the required statutory procedures it is intended to provide a footway improvement in Llanbadarn Road and traffic management measures including a pelican crossing. This will serve to improve pedestrian safety near the entrances to St. Padarn's and Pedwiddig schools. It is hoped that this work can be undertaken this financial year.
