§ Mr. Ian Millsasked the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about the possibility of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Centre or car driving licence examiners issuing literature concerning the Institute of Advanced Motorists' driving test.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeI am attracted by the idea of issuing a leaflet to newly qualified drivers explaining the benefits of improving their driving skills by taking advanced driving tests. We have not yet been able to resolve administrative problems which rule it out, at least at present. I will keep the matter under review.
