§ Mr. Michael MarshallMr. Halliday served as chief executive of the NEB from 1 February 1980 to 2 December 1980. His annual salary was £33,500 on appointment and was increased to £35,000 from 1 April 1980. As indicated in the NEB's annual report and accounts 1980, the board made a payment of £50,000 to Mr. Halliday following his resignation.
