§ Mr. Norman LamontAny private concern can invest in the supply of electricity today, provided that electricity supply is not its main activity. My right hon. Friend has announced our intention of removing this prohibition as soon as a suitable legislative opportunity arises and of consulting interested parties before introducing specific proposals.
