asked the Secretary of State for Industry when he expects to announce the future funding of the Co-operative Development Agency; and if he will make a statement on its work;

Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Industry what progress has been made in preparing the affirmation order in respect of the second stage of funding of the Co-operative Development Agency for approval by the House.

Mr. MacGregor

Future funding of the CDA is under active consideration and I expect to announce a decision on this shortly.
