Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the production and export of cars in the principal industrial countries in 1979 and in 1980.

The USA figures shown above include exports to Canada of 601,000 units in 1979 and 510,000 units in 1980. The Canadian figures include exports to USA of 590,000 nits in 1979 and 550,000 units in 1980.
