§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will seek powers to allow the Manpower Services Commission to extend its funding of the youth opportunities programme to include payment of fees for students attending vocational courses in adult education centres and colleges by means of both day and evening classes.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Manpower Services Commission already funds vocational courses at adult educational centres and colleges as part of the youth opportunities programme. Classes for these courses are normally in the day, but evening classes may also be funded.
