§ Mr. John Evansasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many civil servants, industrial and non-industrial, have been recruited into his Department since 1 January within the wages and salary scales (a) up to £3,000 per annum, (b) £3,000 to £5,000 per annum, (c) £5,000 to £7,500 per annum, (d) £7,500 to £10,000 per annum and (e) above £10,000 per annum.
