HC Deb 31 July 1981 vol 9 c589W
Mr. Murphy

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take special steps to publicise the right to make representations regarding the proposed airport development at Stansted.

Mr. Giles Shaw

The planning application by the British Airports Authority to expand Stansted airport has already received wide publicity and I do not consider further special steps to be necessary. Anyone wishing to make representations may do so, and should send them in writing to the inquiry secretariat at Room 1401, Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ.

The inquiry opens on 29 September 1981.
