§ Mrs. Knightasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he intends to introduce any legislation affecting the medical profession in the light of the decision by the 269W House of Lords on 16 April in the case of H. P. Tarnesby and Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster health authority.
§ Dr. VaughanDiscussions about the implications of this case had already taken place with representatives of the medical profession before their Lordships gave their decision. We intend to introduce appropriate legislation as soon as the Parliamentary timetable allows.
