§ Mr. AlisonIn the years ended 31 March 1980 and 31 March 1981 the number of male police officers in the Royal Ulster Constabulary increased by 371 and 349 respectively.
In the same years the number of male police officers in the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve decreased by 51 and increased by 323 respectively.
§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve have been killed or injured on duty; and how many have been killed or injured off duty as a result of terrorist incidents since the formation of the force;
(2) what is the present membership level of the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve; and what is the actual active service level of this force.
